WEEKLY GROUP YOGA CLASSES
Catch me at one of my classes down in Brentford and leave feeling calm, open and lifted. I believe yoga is for everybody so my classes are mixed level and everyone is welcome, classes sizes are kept small giving you the focus you deserve, mats and water are provided so all you have to do is bring your lovely self - hope to see you there
My teaching is a combination of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga that's open to everybody regardless of flexibility, balance or experience and encourages you to have your own personal experience on the mat. I like to create a playful, moving meditation, linking body with breath to build strength, openness and awareness. I pause to find moments of quiet stillness allowing you to listen and work with your subtle energy body and mind for a transformative effect.
My classes typically start with a meditation to free the mind from any chatter it may be holding, we then wake the body up with gentle, fluid stretching to find freedom and allow our breath to flow through the whole body. Next we begin to move and play, consciously creating shapes and heat with awareness towards what feels good in our own bodies, sometimes we bring focus using breathing exercises for a balancing effect. Finally we finish with a restful savasana and temple massage so you leave feeling calm, relaxed and centred.
